Concrete flooring is durable, but after time and wear, it can need resurfacing. Weather damage, impacts, and heavy-duty use can cause cracking, chipping, or discoloration on your concrete coatings.
Maybe your building’s concrete flooring, edging, stairs, walkways, or patio needs to be checked for crack repair or have to be updated. Or maybe you have tile, wood, or vinyl flooring that you’d like to remove and replace with beautiful polished concrete. Perhaps, you also consider concrete resurfacing to extend the lifespan of your countertop, concrete driveway or even pool deck.
With our diamond concrete refinishing services, the FloorDoctor team can transform any indoor or outdoor concrete structures in your business, home, or garage.
Terrazzo and marble are also popular, durable choices for commercial and residential buildings. Our diamond polishing equipment and techniques are perfectly suited to refinish and refresh these stunning, luxurious materials.

Whether you need concrete refinishing indoors or outdoors, for your business or home, you can count on our skill, preparedness, and professionalism to get the job done right.
Concrete is known for its durability and reliability in construction. In some buildings, flooring such as wood, tile, vinyl, or carpet covers the foundational concrete slab. In other construction, concrete itself is the flooring exposed to the elements. Many industrial and commercial buildings also use concrete for outdoor stairs, sidewalks, patio areas, edging around landscaping, in sculptures, countertop, and for other building decor. In some homes, you’ll find refinished concrete used in driveways, patio and pool areas, and kitchens and bathrooms.
Refinishing a concrete floor can involve removing existing flooring, repairing or resurfacing the concrete underneath, and preparing the concrete to become the exposed flooring. Or, it can involve working with the existing concrete flooring to resurface and restore it after damage.
Customized refinished and new concrete adds an element of modern grace and style. There are dozens of colors, textures, stamped patterns, and decorative choices, so you can design your refinished concrete to complement your design. From industrial chic to a sophisticated shine, you can achieve the “wow factor” you’re looking for, not to mention the durable surface you will get for years to come.
We want nothing more than to be our customers’ heroes.
As experienced professionals who want our customers to be 100% satisfied with their homes or commercial properties, we love to educate people on how to resurface concrete with the quality and versatility of concrete overlay. Ask us all your questions. We want you to have the answers.
Diamond polishers are top of the line when it comes to grinding, shaping, and texturizing concrete. Sandpaper-like pads on the bottom of the machines use various gradients of grit to resurface and polish the rough concrete, terrazzo, or marble into whatever level of smoothness and shine you want.
Unlike most grinders, which use metal-infused pads, our equipment from Xtreme Polishing Systems uses pads made from industrial-grade diamonds. Like a diamond drill bit, this technology gives our equipment a longer life and more durability than other grinders and polishers. The specialized shape of the diamond wheel prevents gouging in the concrete or other surfaces, and the many grits of pads available give us total control over how we’re affecting the materials.
On top of that, our diamond concrete refinishing equipment and process allow for full customizability of the finished result, ensuring we can bring your vision for your property to life.
Diamond-polished surfaces are beautiful, long-lasting, and high-performing. Appropriate for businesses and homes, they have the added benefit of being changed and updated whenever you want. Whether 5 years down the road or 50, we can resurface and refinish your concrete surfaces and flooring.
We demand quality for our customers in every aspect – from our equipment maintenance to our cleaning supplies.
At FloorDoctors, we use only the best diamond concrete refinishing equipment on the market. With multiple industrial-strength machines from Xtreme Polishing Systems renowned Genie and Mammoth series, we are prepared for anything, including stairs, corners, and edges.
Our equipment features engines from the trusted name of Briggs & Stratton, built-in vacuums for wet refinishing, and industrial-grade diamond polishing technology. Our chemical supplies come from Sherwin Williams, and our concrete supplies come from specialized industrial construction and concrete manufacturers throughout the U.S. We sought out the best of the best for our supplies so that we can demonstrate our top quality through our services.
Concrete floor refinishing is not completed all at once, and the specific process will depend on your situation, your building needs, and your design preferences. Our refinishing process is similar for terrazzo or marble surfaces and produces incredible results. After we consult with you about the specifics, we can estimate exactly what we’ll do and how long it will take.
Although timetables vary, the process of refinishing concrete floors can take approximately 1 week for every 1,000 square feet. Other concrete surfaces may take more or less time. Once we know what you need, we’ll customize our process and timetable to make your vision into reality.
For most of our clients, no major prep work is required. You may need to remove your items from the area being refinished, but that’s about it. We provide all necessary supplies and perform all the processes for preparation and clean-up. Our FloorDoctor professionals are prepared with personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all federal, state, and local safety guidelines.
We come prepared to protect and improve your property. After your concrete refinishing is complete, we use industrial janitorial supplies to keep your property clean.
Our goal is to leave property and homeowners with nothing to worry about: just incredible interior and exterior floors and a great lasting impression.
Our specialized equipment removes old concrete flooring, coatings, glue, epoxy, mastic, and paint from floors and other surfaces quickly. If you have tile, vinyl, or wood flooring, the FloorDoctor team gets the old materials out of the way without a fuss.
The resurfacing step in refinishing concrete, terrazzo, or marble prepares it by grinding away the top layers to expose the harder, less damaged material underneath. This may take a few passes of our specialized grinders, using different grits of diamond padding to achieve the desired results.
After the surface of the concrete is prepared, we polish it to achieve the final texture, pattern, and shine. This may take several passes of our diamond polisher, using a finer grit of diamond pad, to finalize. Once the concrete has been completely polished, the FloorDoctor team offers more than 120 stain colors and finishes for you to choose from. If you’re refinishing stained concrete floors, we provide individual consultations to help you understand your choices.
When the stain has set, we infuse the concrete with a densifier, which seals the material’s pores to strengthen the surface and prevent dust build-up. The cement must cure for the appropriate amount of time, and then we seal it with epoxy to increase durability and protect your new diamond-polished surface from spills, dirt, and weather damage. Choose from our wide selection of lasting, beautiful epoxy for a complete look you’ll love.
The experts at FloorDoctor offer concrete refinishing for commercial and residential garages of all sizes. In addition to our professional approach and detailed process for grinding and polishing the garage floor, we offer superior stain and sealant options for garage floors.
Our specialized garage floor epoxy offers additional benefits, including:
With dozens of pigments, colors, and signature flake choices, you can always find the exact attractive and protective design and look you’d like for your industrial or residential garage.
